Ziggy - Flooring
The conversion to twin beds in out 2010 Excel TS was completed over 2025. Documentation of that conversion finished with the original bare plywood floors. Well, flooring has now been installed, also done in 2025. We used some snap together wood looking flooring left over from a house remodel. The remodel was done before we bought the house but the spare flooring was still stored away. There was some concern the wood cabinets plus flooring would be too much wood. However, it seems to work out fine.

The mount for the table was installed in the original position. Thus no need for a new hole in the plywood and sheet metal floor. The aluminum mount was painted, probably from PleasureWay. The thinking was bare aluminum would look better so that paint was stripped.
A wooden plug was used to fill this table mount making it flush with the floor. It worked well when there was carpet, the carpet filled in at floor level masking the poor fit of the plug itself. But without the carpet the fit and finish was poor. So, a new plug was made. Nice looking and functional.

The original plan was to install trim around the installed floor. However once installed it looks nice without. Besides Pleasureway used no trim between the linoleum and cabinets. So we decided to forego the trim.
It's a nice finish for the bedroom and great to finally have the twin bed conversion completed.
