Sassy - Toilet
We decided to change out the toilet in Sassy for a shorter version. The prevoius owner had put in a tall porceline toilett. It was nice but the drawers in the bathroom would not open fully. It was also not real solid. I picked up a toilet in Prescott but was in Quartzsite by the time I got around to installing.
When I started the installation I found the closet flange (bolt ring that holds toilet down) had been modified. The further I looked at it the worse it got. A prior repair, likely when they put in the higher toilette was done using a HydroSeat with NO SEAL. This "repair" left the toilet very shaky and, du, it didn't seal. After much research Hugh figured the original closet flange was made in two pieces and the outer ring, that the T-bolts hold to, had broken away. That left only a smooth plastic flange, no way to bolt the toilet down. The original likely broke because the piping from the black tank is crooked.

At this point I called in the professionals, RV Proctologist from Quatzsite, who specialize in RV tanks and their plumbing. Their conclusion, "you need to remove the black tank to fix it. That's a big job and we're not up to doing it. Oh ya, you owe us $100." Neadless to say, I'll never call them again. I suggest you not call them either.
Removing the tank on a Bigfoot IS a big deal as they are enclosed for heating. Hugh finally used two closet flange repair parts to fix it. A thin clam shell ring under the existing flange and one over the flange screwed to the floor.

The new toilet isn't as nice as the porceline one removed, but the drawers now open. I believe the replacement toilet is a Thetford Aqua-Magic Bravura. Hard to find one short enough for drawer clearance. I don't know what the OEM toilet was.
