Backup Camera
The previous owner added a backup camera to our Bigfoot. It is a Voyager WVOS43 Digital Wireless Observation System. The system works well but we seldom use it. We've depended on an observer with hand signals or walkie talkie for a long time.

Remove Microwave
We use the microwave so little it's more important for us the have the storage space. So, we removed the microwave and leave it at our winter digs in Brenda, AZ where we have a small shed. It is easily replaced if we ever decide to do that.
I built a door to cover the cabinet opening. Tried to match the style and stain of the other woodwork. It came out well and we make good use of the new storage.

Bathroom Faucet
Bigfoot built Sassy with a cheap plastic bathroom faucet. We did not like this so replaced it with a much nicer Pfister brushed nickle faucet.

Door Struts
The door was originally held open with a gas spring. When in eastern Arizona a wind storm hit overpowering the gas spring. This slammed the door hard enough to break the screen door. That was a bummer so I made a strut to hold the door open. It uses ball end joints modified to snap open and closed rather than lock in place. A second was made which holds the door open when the awning is out. Those are both shown below. This positively holds the door open, no more problems. The screen was fixed also.

Remove Front Cowling
Bigfoot puts a nice white fiberglass cowling on the front tongue. This is a nice addition which covers the propane bottles and batteries. However, it makes removing the propane bottles for filling very difficult. For this reason we removed it. Function over style.

Curtains for Kitchen
Sassy had a silver plastic loovered window cover over the kitchen window. It was very hard to clean and just didn't look nice. So, Denise made some new curtains. The material was left over from making curtains for Shasta. We really like this material but can't find it anymore. With it you can never get lost.
