Ziggy - Front Receiver
I put a front receiver on Ziggy before WeldTec did the lift. The primary reason was to carry the new spare tire back from San Diego. The spare should eventually fit under the rear bumper where the original spare is located, but that will take some modifications.
The reveiver kit was purchased from E-Trailer. They seem to have quality products and their install directions have always been good. This installation was no different. Not much to note as the process went just as called for. Some U-Tube videos suggested it could be done without removing the front bumper, but the concensus seemed to be that it's easier with removal. I opted for removing the bumper.

The final result came out clean, no problem.

We were unable to use the tire carrier coming from San Diego though. The new Method rim was too deep to fit. WeldTec was unable to come us with a reasonable solution so we brought the spare back inside the rig. When we got back to Brenda, and my small shop, I made three spacers and the wheel now fits fine.

Still using it for a spare tire carrier. Once I move the spare to the back it'll free up the receiver. It's a great recovery point. But, since our Onan generator has gone belly up, I may put a small carrier with generaor here. A small portable generator costs about half what a new Onan would be. Always one more project, at least.
