The apron is a fairly simple construction of aluminum plate. The holes have yet to be drilled for the spiral spring holder and ball nut with holder. The holders are shown in this picture.

The completed apron is below. The first picture shows the headstock side with its recess for the spiral sping. The second picture show the tailstock side with the ball screw and inside spiral spring support mounted.

The picture below shows how the spiral springs fit.
